Tournament Poker for Advanced Players - By David Sklansky

After a slow start, this book captures the essence of tournament poker and provides excellent examples, situations, questions and analysis of various poker hands in all sorts of hold’em format tournaments.

I am not sure if Mason Malmuth was the sole contributor to the beginning of the book and the last section (part 5), but they are the weakest portions of the book.

The middle portion of the book by itself (the hand quizzes), are well worth your investment of $30-$35. I recommend it to anyone who has played a fair amount of ring games and tournaments and wants to elevate their game and their profits to an all-time high.

Add this book to your growing library soon, it’s a tough read to start, but gathers momentum fast and won’t let you down (unless you are disappointed in the last segment as I was).
